PLEASE NOTE: The Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed on Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. to Noon, for the 5k races and the parade.Parking and traffic in the Downtown District is expected to be challenging. Consider using these options to help.- LeeTran's Beach Park and Ride to park for FREE off-island and ride the Trolley to the beach.
- Once on the Island, use LeeTran's FREE Beach Tram that follows along Estero Boulevard and travels to all of your favorite FMB locations.
- New parking spaces are available at Town Hall (2525 Estero Boulevard) for evenings and weekends. The FREE Beach Tram stops by the south corner of Town Hall at the intersection of Tropical Shores Way and Estero Boulevard.
- Text PARKING to 239-FMBeach to see the percentage of Town-operated spaces that are currently available. This is updated daily at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. (Commercial lots are not included.)

St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. at Santini Plaza and ends at Church of the Ascension The parade will assemble in Santini Plaza (south end of the Island at 7205 Estero Boulevard) at 8 a.m. Step off will be promptly at 10 a.m. The parade will march one mile north on Estero Boulevard to Church of the Ascension parking lot.

March 2022 Outdoor Nature & Education Events
Caloosa Carvers at The Mound House host free public carving demonstrations on the first and third Tuesday of each month through tourism season from 9 a.m. to Noon.
The next Caloosa Carvers Mound House program is on Tuesday, March 15 following by sessions on April 5, before concluding for the year on April 19.
In addition to their free public demonstrations, these talented woodcarvers provide the Mound House with hands-on educational tools for school groups and the general public.
