The Town of Fort Myers Beach is proud to announce the reappointment of Joe Onzick as Finance Director. With a demonstrated history of excellence in fiscal management, transparency, and long-term financial planning, Onzick’s return marks a continued commitment to responsible governance and financial integrity.

Onzick previously served as Finance Director from March 2023 to April 2025, during which he led the development of balanced budgets, improved financial reporting standards, and increased efficiency in the finance department.
“I am excited to be back,” stated Onzick, “My brief period away caused me to realize more than ever that this is what I've been called to do and that this is where my heart is - I look forward to serving the town to the best of my abilities.”
