The Town of Fort Myers Beach is pleased to announce that two beach wheelchairs are now available for loan to residents and visitors. This specialized wheelchair is designed for use on sand, allowing individuals with mobility challenges to enjoy the beach more easily and comfortably.
Program Details:
- 2 wheelchairs available 7 days a week
- Wheelchairs available for up to a 7-day loan
- Weekend Reservations Required: (239) 765-0202 ext. 1502
- Reservation Scheduling Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- At pickup: A quick photo of your valid ID will be taken
- Please note: This is a push wheelchair, not motorized
