Friday, February 16, Nicole Berzin was appointed as the new Public Information Officer for the Town of Fort Myers Beach.
She has been with the Town of Fort Myers Beach for three years, working in the Culture, Parks and Recreation Department. Most recently, she worked as the Recreation Campus Manager during the reopening of Bay Oaks Recreational Campus.
Berzin has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Florida Gulf Coast University, in Fort Myers, FL. From Saint Thomas University, in Miami Gardens, FL, she has a Masters degree in Business Administration.
“I am excited about Nicole being promoted to the position as PIO. She has demonstrated her leadership abilities by filling in as the PIO after the recent vacancy in that position,” said Town Manager, Andy Hyatt. “She brings enthusiasm and energy to the town that fits with my philosophy on local government.”
